Bio
Melissa has 6 years of experience, including 3 years working in the NHS specialising in musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. She particularly enjoys treating lower back and lower limb injuries and prefers to take a holistic approach to management including manual therapy, strength and conditioning and mobility programs, as well as adjunct treatments such as dry needling, taping and shockwave if indicated.
Melissa enjoys treating patients with knee ligament and meniscal injuries, hip impingements, patellofemoral pain (kneecap pain), Achilles tendinopathy, stress fractures and lateral ankle sprains. She also finds fulfilment in assisting patients recovering from orthopaedic surgeries such as ACL surgery, guiding them towards a successful return to their favourite sports and activities and helping them achieve their goals.
In her own time, she enjoys running, field hockey, swimming, netball, and tennis and enjoys treating injuries related to these sports.
