Sam Tomkins

Sam has a fascination with optimising performance. He has competed in Powerlifting Nationals and in youth Boxing. A coach of over 15 years in various sports, he has worked predominantly in professional Football as an S&C coach. Sam believes in building good quality movement foundations, driving work ethic and will strive to get the very best out of everyone he works with.

Bio

Sam has worked in many sports but notably Powerlifting and professional Football for the last 7 years (Charlton Athletic FC) for Women’s, Academy and Men’s 1st teams as an S&C coach. He is a guest lecturer for University of Greenwich in various Sports Science topics. He is also a published scientist, exploring links between movement speed and perception effort in Olympic lifting movements. With a methodical, evidence-based approach to training he is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals.
