Dr Brinda Christopher is a London-based Specialist Registrar in Sports and Exercise Medicine. She graduated from Royal Free and University College Medical School MBBS, and Loughborough University BSc. Undertaking her training at several teaching hospitals, University College London Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital, and The Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Headley Court, developed her special interest in medical education. She is currently on the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine Diploma Question writing committee, and has lectured at The Royal London and Barts University. She has appeared on the BBC One Show as a specialist advisor on physical activity to promote health and manage chronic diseases and has been awarded a Clinical Fellowship at Stanford University in association with the Veterans Association, to further investigate the correlates of fitness and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Brinda’s work in elite sport includes Premiership Medical Coordinator for Norwich City FC, and Team Physician for AFC Wimbledon.
