The Studio
A dedicated Pilates studio located within the newly refurbished Third Space Soho, in the heart of the West End. Fully integrated with our world class Medical Centre, we are able to provide a holistic approach to rehabilitation journeys by combining our Pilates services with the expertise of our Medical Centre physiotherapist and osteopaths.
We offer small group sessions on the Pilates equipment and private personalised sessions tailored to your needs from rehabilitation to athletic performance enhancement and injury prevention. Although we are a members-only club, the Pilates studio is open to non-member clients.
Equipment Based Pilates
As a strength training method, Pilates focuses core strengthening exercises through correct postural alignment that tone and reshape the whole body creating leaner, more flexible limbs and stronger back and core.
Equipment-based Pilates offers a wide variety of benefits that can guide anybody further along their fitness regime. Professional athletes use Pilates to prevent injury and it is the method of choice of rehabilitation professionals.
Our Studio is equipped with five state of the art Balance Body Allegro 2 reformers, one Peak Pilates reformer with tower, one Cadillac, one Barrel and one Combo Chair to offer variety in all our sessions.
Gyrotonic Method
Gyrotonic exercises are performed on custom-designed Gyrotonic equipment and are composed of spiraling, circular movements, which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions, with corresponding breath. Each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility.
Created by Julis Horvath, Gyrotonic was born from the need to help with dance-related injuries, so the method makes use of many dance-oriented exercises to promote flexibility and strength. It is similar to Pilates in purpose, but approaches the same goals with a different style of movement. The Gyrotonic community has grown exponentially around the world in the last few year, including professionals from all walks of life looking for a dynamic method to keep fit.
