We are looking for a Children’s Activity Manager to join the team to deliver the very best services to our members with children. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the opening of a new innovative children’s and family sports and fitness concept opening in Islington 2019.

You will be responsible for a team of coaches and play assistants who you will support and develop through informal and formal development reviews, you will also be responsible for the day to day operation of your department including managing revenue and expenditure, team rota’ and the children’s sports and activity programme.

We’re looking for an experienced Children’s Activities Manager who has worked or is working with children and families to support specifically fitness, sports and play, a growing and important sector engaging and delivering health and well-being for children and families.

You will be enthusiastic, highly motivated and love working with children, you will have the ability and desire to provide the very best environment with a strong focus on safety and safeguarding compliance, along with the desire to ensure our children members are taking part in the fantastic sports and play activities at the club.

You will have specific experience in delivering and organising sports and play activities for children from pre-school to Key Stage 2 specifically.

This is a full-time role and you will be required to be working with the families and children, this will mean working flexible hours which will include some bank holidays and weekends.

As we continue to build more luxury health clubs as well as invest in our current estate, we are now looking to appoint a Head of Facilities. Reporting into the Property Director, the Head of Facilities will be responsible for managing all aspects of hard and soft facilities services to all sites, including five clubs, two studios, a full service restaurant in Canary Wharf and a Kitchen in Battersea which caters for our Natural Fitness Food business.

The Head of Facilities will work directly with external contractors/suppliers and internal facilities and operational teams to deliver a first class, 5 star property service to the business, assuming functional accountability for all contracted services, PPM and statutory requirements to ensure the clubs and assets are maintained to the highest standards.

The Head of Facilities will  also be responsible for writing and amending new and existing service contract documentation, developing internal processes and standards and ensuring those standards are maintained as required by the Property Director. The Head of Facilities will identify changes in statutory requirements and facilitate any relevant changes within current processes and work closely with the Senior Facilities Manager on all Health & Safety related matters.

We’re ideally looking for an experienced Facilities Manager within a commercial organisation. You will need to be able to demonstrate your experience of owning facilities contracts and supplier/ contractor management, Facility legislation, and governing bodies. Although it’s not essential, if you have Quality Assurance knowledge and experience and/or a recognised industry qualification desirable but not essential.

We are looking for exceptional Personal Trainers who are passionate about health and fitness and able to support and inspire our members achieve their goals whilst bringing our brand to life.

Our Personal Training roles will give you the opportunity to work with clients from a variety different backgrounds and experience; allowing you to introduce those taking their first step into Personal Training to those aspiring to be athletes.

Our Personal Trainers are the bread and butter and foundation of Third Space and so we will show our commitment to you by enrolling you onto our exciting education system where you will have access to bespoke and tailored training plans with our expert Learning and Development team. All of our Personal Trainers must ensure that they complete at least 6 days of further/continuous education per year either through our bespoke Third Space System or via other external means.

We have 2 tiers within our Personal Training department and the criteria for each is:

Tier 1

  • Minimum Level 3 Reps or Bachelor degree
  • Entry point for externals is 1,000 hours of personal training experience

Tier 2

  • Minimum Level 4 Reps or Master’s Degree (or CSCS / UKSCA) plus 4,000 hours experience
  • Required to have a good nutritional understanding

There will be a 12-18 month timeframe until you are able to progress from T1 – T2.

All applicants will be required to complete our training system within their first 3 months.
