Third Space is looking for industry experts to join their growing Personal Training department across all of our Central London clubs.  Successful applicants will need to be passionate about fitness and bringing our brand to life, while aspiring to help our members achieve their goals. Our roles will give you the opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds and a variety of experience.

Tier 1 –Minimum Level 3 Reps or Bachelor degree.  Entry point for externals is 1,000 hours experience.

Tier 2 –Minimum Level 4 Reps or Master’s Degree (or CSCS / UKSCA) plus 4,000 hours experience . Good nutritional understanding.

All applicants will be required to complete our training system within their first 3 months.

There will be a 12-18 month timeframe until you are able to progress from T1 – T2. All applicants must ensure they do at least 6 days of further/continuous education per year either through the Third Space System or other external means.

We are looking for a world class manager to run our bespoke and busy group exercise programme. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for fitness to support us ensure productivity of the exercise programme by developing the class range and service quality of the timetable and also be actively involved in creating and expanding our offering of signature classes, concepts, workshops and master classes.

Whilst reporting to the Operations Manager, you will need to work closely with the sales and operations team to deliver our brand standards and excellence as well as assist with any Marketing/PR and special events where we showcase our new concepts to actively promote Third Space’s fitness offerings in the competitive market. The successful candidate will also need to hold workshops and coaching sessions for internal team members, such as the sales and fitness team, so that the benefits of any new models are widely known, understood and correctly promoted.

As a Group Exercise Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the group exercise timetable and also for creating a robust and efficient recruitment process where any potential candidates are required to undergo an audition to guarantee that Third Space continues to host the best trainers and instructors within London. We have an exciting opportunity for an efficient and engaging Membership Manager at our Soho Club.

The ideal candidate will live and breathe by delivering a premium 5 star customer service and able to ooze passion and enthusiasm about health and fitness.

As a Membership Manager you will be responsible for managing member retention, both pro-actively and re-actively; ensuring club member retention targets and renewal targets are communicated, understood and met. This will require you to analyse a collection of rejected monthly subscriptions, monthly membership cancellations and annual renewals – both individual and corporate.  Do not fear, our very capable HOD team will support you in retraining members who may have expressed an interest in cancelling their membership by discussing what our club has to offer them based on their cancellation reasons.

The Membership Manager will also need to take ownership of a high volume of corporate memberships, including tasks such as liaising with corporate contacts regarding membership renewals and transfers, to issuing corporate invoices and subsequent credit control.

With a great deal of liaising with clients and corporate accounts, we need a proficient communicator, with both strong written and verbal skills who is able to carry-out their tasks to the highest possible standard and ensure that all procedures appear seamless for the customers. The ideal candidate will also be able to manage difficult conversations and take care of any negative feedback by proactively addressing this with the customer to ensure a positive outcome is reached.

This varied role will also involve administration tasks such as checking membership paperwork, processing cancellations, managing subsequent set-up failures and the allocation and reconciliation of private locker hire.
