As we continue to grow and diversify our products and services to our members, we need to ensure we have the correct IT infrastructure, support and technology in place to enable us to achieve our long term goals. With that in mind, we’re now looking for a proactive, knowledgeable and highly skilled IT Technician to work closely with all of our clubs and ultimately enable them to ensure a seamless and stable member experience through the proactive support and management of technical systems and IT infrastructure.

The IT Technician will work closely with and manage our various outsourced IT partners and the face of IT & Technology internally across the business. You will be happy to assist with queries from our team members in club and at head office and work across all sites to ensure that our equipment is maintained, performing preventative maintenance, assist with new installations and new openings and also assessing our current equipment and procedures and making suggestions for areas of improvement or upgrade.

In June 2018, we are opening our doors to our brand new, best in class Health Club in the heart of the City of London and we’re currently looking for a Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective and continuous operation of equipment and machinery throughout the premises and ensuring the facilities are safe to work in.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing the maintenance team effectively and will direct, coordinate and manage all ongoing and planned preventative maintenance activities within the club and the ‘care and repair’ of all capital equipment. You will manage expenditure and budgets and ensure industry requirements are followed at all times, also updating team members on any changes to procedures or practice and implement timely and efficiently.

You’ll oversee projects, review priorities and ensure they are actioned accordingly and schedule regular maintenance activities such as service visits. Routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and carrying out general repairs and upkeep of the facility is essential at all times and you’ll ensure that there is sufficient cover in place, that work is accurately recorded and logged and budgets are not exceeded. You’ll also be responsible for fire life safety systems being routinely checked and maintained for safety compliance.

 

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager who has previous experience

  • of planned & scheduled maintenance involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
  • Working knowledge of simple electrical circuits, PAT testing;

The ideal candidate must possess excellent interaction and communication skills, be able to manage difficult conversations and take care of any negative feedback by proactively addressing this with the customer to ensure a satisfactory outcome is reached.

The role will also include Duty Management shifts, and an opportunity for the individual to showcase their skills in managing other departments during their shift.

Our Club is fast-paced so you’ll need to work well under pressure and will be responsible for ensuring that a professional level of service is delivered at all times. Within this requirement, you will need to be fully conversant with every offering within the club, including the group exercise timetable.

As a Concierge Team Member you’ll also need to work a mixture of shifts which involve opening the club as early as 05:15 and closing as late as 23:30, whilst ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.

There will be a 12-18 month timeframe until you are able to progress to Tier 1 PT or a Group Exercise Instructor or Management.
