Tier 1 –Minimum Level 3 Reps or Bachelor degree.  Entry point for externals is 1,000 hours experience.

All applicants will be required to complete our training system within their first 3 months.

As a Spa Therapist it’s important to be both welcoming and engaged when liaising and building relationships with customers and also within your direct team to ensure that an encouraging and optimistic culture is sensed throughout the Spa.

We are looking for a proficient communicator, with both strong written and verbal skills so that day-to-day tasks of providing informed consultations on Spa offerings, booking in appointments to carrying out proficient treatments appears seamless for the customer.

The Marketing team are looking for a proactive Marketing Operations Manager to join the team. The position will report directly to the Senior Brand Manager.

The role will involve assisting the Marketing team in executing all events and special projects. The role will cover the logistics and operations of setting up all events and brand special projects. The role will also focus on execution of operations and logistics with regard our in club retail offering.

We are seeking a proactive and positive individual with a strong events and retail or in health club background.

Retail Operations:

  • Work with the Marketing Director on Third Space branded retail lines; apparel, accessories, protein powder.
  • Work with our retail partners (existing with Lululemon, Nike and 2XU with further retail lines to come from Adidas and Reebok) on new collections, promotions, events, exclusive ranges.
  • Lead contact for all sites in terms of retail operations including storage of stock, stock takes and visual merchandising
  • Administer retail training on retail ranges where needed
  • Manage the visual merchandising experience in each club for retail lines
  • Stock taking procedures and documents – analysing reports star performers and tail SKUs, work with in club team on stock taking using EZRunner (system used for sales and stock management).
  • Oversee the implementation of a retail policy including reviewing theft, missing stock, returns and exchanges
  • Finance – targets, submitting costs to finance, tracking sales vs forecast
  • T&C’s – returns and damages, oversee the implementation of a retail policy

Events, Special Projects & Brand Partnerships: 

Assist the Senior Brand Marketing Manager and Brand Marketing Manager with the organising of, and coordination of in club and external events to a high standard, ensuring all elements are within brand standards, and aiming to show case Third Space as the most desirable health club group in London.

  • Event logistics and operations
  • Sourcing materials for events including instructors, equipment, kit
  • Appropriate branding and collateral following Third Space brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Attending events to ensure set up runs smoothly and brand is represented well

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Senior Brand Manager is directly responsible for the daily operational running of in club and digital marketing for Third Space Group (Gyms, Spas, sports med, Natural Fitness Food and The Pearson Room) and manages the Events Manager and Marketing Assistant.

The SBM will work with the Marketing Director to develop the brand strategy building Third Space to be the most desirable Health Club group in London, increasing loyalty of members and attracting new members. Thye will also directly manage the plans for The Pearson Room in Canary Wharf and the Spas.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Marketing Director to build a communications strategy to maximise awareness and drive key acquisition and retention KPIs delivering maximum return on investment from the communications budget
  • Drive traffic online and footfall into the clubs and work with the sales team to optimise conversion
  • Understand the customer and manage all activities related to customer insight and updating and improving the customers experience especially online
  • Work with the team to deliver the marketing plan which is primarily comprised of online and social media, event plans both in club and externally, brand partnerships and PR launches.
  • Brief and deliver all communication creative including sales team collateral and oversee the events collateral (managed by the Event Manager) and ensure that all customer communications are delivered in the right tone of voice and ensure that all social posts are professional, accurate and represent the Third Space brand.
  • Develop any tactical offers and propositions that will increase acquisition rates or improve retention Work with the sales managers to know & understand the corporate portfolio and assist with the sales process to drive new business to the clubs
  • Manage the day to day relationships with internal media channels, agencies and external partners
  • Full responsibility for updating and managing the Third Space website in an efficient and timely manner and increase the number of links back to improve SEO. Monitor the performance of the website, tracking conversion rates and making improvements. Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the websites working effectively with the digital agencies utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC
  • Create with the relevant agencies all required newsletters and member comms each month, tracking conversions and making improvements ensuring all copy and images are signed off by GMs and Marketing Director.
  • Working with the club’s experts and external copywriters/editors to create and upload interesting and relevant content onto the journal and social media channels (target 10% min engagement with posts). Work with the PR agency to optimise all published articles through social media.
  • Work in conjunction with the membership manager and EZ runner Project Manager to continually improve the online customer journey
  • Attend all meetings requested and keep up to date with events, promotions and any changes taking place across the clubs
  • Work with the marketing assistant to create imagery and video content and upload using the content management system for the internal club digital screens
  • Effectively manage team performance, setting targets, giving feedback, developing and supporting team members to ensure the Third Space values, operating procedures and ways of working are embedded.
  • Maintain regular and ongoing communication to all Head of Departments and any other team members as appropriate
  • Contribute to team’s market insight awareness, by pro-actively seeking out competitor new classes, media and event activity, where relevant concisely and timely communicate to the team
  • Review and analyse all promotions. Review sales targets for member/new member promotions continually monitoring key success measures and sending updates to marketing and lead team (including key observations and recommendations)
  • Develop strong relationships with other functional areas & grow network, work harmoniously with GMs, operational teams, sales, finance, Spa, NFF and develop relationships with relevant agencies and external health and fitness influencers.
  • Ensure any spend is approved and within the Marketing budget and liaise with finance regarding marketing information, POs and invoices when queries arise.
